the Pensacola tournament with their two fish weighing in at 9.5lbs. This is
the team’s second tournament victory of the series and put them in a tie for

Run for the Redfish
Inaugural event benefiting Coastal Conservation Association
On December 5, 2009 runners from across the Southeast will participate in the inaugural Run for the Redfish in Panama City Beach, Florida, a combined half marathon, 5k run and kids fun run will be held at Pier Park. A portion of the proceeds for event will benefit the Coast Conservation Association (CCA). (more…)

80 Teams showed up to fish the Venice, IFA Mid-Season event. The weather was great, and with high-dirty water the anglers made plans for long runs. Not only did Ritter & Abruscato win the IFA tournament in Slidell, Louisiana, but they must have found a Honey Hole that produces 8+ pounders to get their seconed IFA event win in the state of Louisiana. Florida’s resident saltwater anglers who fish from shore or a structure affixed to shore will need to buy a $7.50 (plus administrative and handling fees) shoreline fishing license by Aug. 1, unless they have a regular resident saltwater fishing license. (more…)
